PORT is a coffee shop on the University of Victoria campus situated in a new residence building designed by Perkins + Will. The university needed design services for naming, branding and signage. The coffee shop centered around a punchy, easy to remember name. Ultimately we landed on PORT, a reference to both coffee being the first port of call for students as well as the inevitable for electrical outlets for laptops.
