Label design for the world’s first awamori brown sugar liqueur by the highly awarded bartender Shingo Gokan, head of SG Group. Distilled by the Mizuho Shuzo Brewery that has been in operation since 1848.
The richly flavoured liqueur was developed to mark the first year anniversary of Gokan’s bar El Lequio. The bar celebrates the relationship between Japanese and Latin American cultures. The label merges the two cultures with a warm palette, gold accents that glitter like the beaches on each shore and a green blue band connecting the two continents by water.
